Agreed, the time between logins for me has gone from, every couple days, to once a week, to now almost never. Its just to noisy.

Watchlist 3/9/2010 – Lots of stocks!!

Tough day to trade yesterday, another busy day at work and while there were good setups, when I did get a chance to check price alerts there were never any decent entries. Also some of the best plays had no borrows at my brokers.
Super sketchy looking chinese energy company, with a headquarters in Las Vegas. Almost a triple off of $0.80 cents in a few days. This is a primary watch. SHORT
Another chinese raw materials play, big pop then a nice red day with fading volume yesterday. A little pricey for me. SHORT
Big moves last week on an upgrade. I watched the pop and considered buying it. Not sure if the move is justified, just another generic mail order retailer from what I can tell. Real company though so doubt I will trade it. SHORT
A very familiar sounding name, not sure if I’ve traded it or just watched it in the past. A little on the boring side but looking to see if it continues to fade. To steal one of my favorite Tim Sykes quotes, “My magic charts say it does.”
SHORT
Another primary watch, please please please let me find shares to short. They purport to make some magical formula that will cure all your ills as well as bring about world peace. Sheesh check out their website if your looking for some quality laughs!! SHORT
HUGE mid day spike then faded, not sure where this goes now, VERY VERY tired of watching and waiting for it to crack. Though I’m confident it will someday. SHORT
This brings back found memories!! I did this trade recap mixing up the company names!! Huge move but I see nothing behind it, I’ll be watching this closely as a primary watch and spending time aggressively digging for shares. SHORT
This has been a traders dream the last few days, huge moves on the up and downside. It will eventually crack big time once the momo goes away. I’ve been to busy to play it recently though. Another primary watch. SHORT
No great play yesterday, maybe you could have shorted it when it failed to break out to a new high, but thats dangerous. I like it even better today.
Could have been nice on the crack of $4.00, nothing huge but a nice fade setup. This is one of the stocks I almost traded yesterday, had I not been so distracted.
Pretty messy yesterday, but like CHGY you could have shorted after it refused to breakout in the $1.50’s. But no real solid play.
Blegh, would have been a solid buy more then a short yesterday. Big up move right at the mid day point.
Beauty of a short!! And will most likely continue to tank, only solace I take is I’m pretty sure NO brokers had borrows, not just mine but NONE.
Huge short and hugely predictable, but way to pricey for me to play. Plus from what I hear borrows were next to impossible to find.
Ick, how did this make my list, technically went down but boooring.
Recapped above in the watch list, killer moves both ways, but I never had a good opportunity or the proper mindset to play it yesterday.

All of these are shorts.

Great followup to “Made to stick”, which I was not terribly fond of. Tons of great business productivity ideas presented with very compelling and interesting case studies. This is the kind of book I would love to write if I could ever actually write a book, the research process put into it had to be a great time and extremely educational.
I just need a killer book advance so I could spend a year traveling and researching! Since I know hundreds of publishers read this blog, feel free to contact me to schedule the bank wire of my advance.
If your looking for some interesting and what felt like new ideas to kick your business in the butt this book is very inspirational and educational. Very solid!
